The Mary Clarissa Turner Activity Fund aims to support the positive development of girls and young women, ages 2-22, in the Targeted Impact Areas of Washington, DC and Prince Georges County, MD*

The Fund seeks to award grant money to girls and young women who wish to participate in activities that promote positive self development and will help to prepare them for a bright future.
Grant funds may cover:
Summer Camp or Enrichment Activities
Team Sports or Group Activity Fee(s)
Application Fee(s)
Private Tutoring or Private Lesson Fee(s)
School or Group Trips
Supplies or Materials Needed an Activity or Event
Activity Registration Fee(s)
Grant award is up to $500.
The grant cannot be used for school tuition, or deposits that will not clear a balance.
Funds used for activity fees or an event will be disbursed directly to the club, program, institution or individual sponsoring the activity.
Supplies will be purchased and delivered directly to the recipient.
The SUMMER GRANT Application Process
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until June 1, 2024.
The SUMMER GRANT selection and disbursement will take place as follows:
April 1st - June 1st Applications Accepted*
June 1st - June 20th Applications Reviewed
June 21st Grant Recipient Notified
June 21st - June 30th Grant funds Disbursed
